How the coach scores a turn
Candidate counts use the site’s five-letter dictionary and exact Wordle duplicate-letter rules. Alternative guesses are ranked by how evenly they divide the possibilities: a lower expected number of remaining words is better. Results are coaching estimates because accepted-guess and possible-answer lists can change over time.
